The South African Society of Sedation Practitioners (SOSPOSA) is committed to providing high-quality educational products, training courses, and events to our members. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation terms for all purchases made through sosposa.co.za.

1. Membership Fees

1.1 Annual Membership

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once your account has been activated.
  • Membership runs for 12 months (or 24 months for Student and Registrar categories) from the date of activation.
  • Memberships do not automatically renew.

2. Online CPD Courses

  • All online CPD courses are non-refundable once access has been granted.
  • If you experience technical difficulties, contact us within 7 days of purchase.

3. Conferences and Events

You may substitute another delegate at no charge with 7 days notice. If SOSPOSA cancels an event, you will receive a full refund.

4. Self-Appraisal Certificate

  • Before submission: Refund available within 30 days (less R250 admin fee)
  • After submission: No refunds, regardless of outcome
  • Unsuccessful applicants may resubmit free within 12 months

5. How to Request a Refund

Email office@sosposa.co.za with:

  • Full name
  • SOSPOSA membership number
  • Order number
  • Reason for refund

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.
